The ParenTS project - part 2 is a quantitative longitudinal questionnaire-based study.

This project aims to study the links between working conditions and parents' health during the year after a child is born.

We still know little about the influence and impact of work (for example when returning after leave) on the health of mothers and fathers after the birth of a child, and about the effects of this return on well-being and health. We therefore want to understand how working conditions influence parents' well-being and health during the child's first year of life.

The project is conducted in the canton of Vaud.

It consists of three questionnaires administered when the child is 2, 7 and 12 months old, in order to track changes in parents' well-being and health during the first year and assess the influence of returning to work.

We expect approximately 1,400 parent respondents.

This project is carried out in compliance with the requirements of Swiss legislation. We follow all internationally recognized guidelines. The project is fully funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. The competent ethics committee has reviewed and approved this project.
